CHIPPING BASICS
Set up left.

Grip down on the club. Raise the handle so the shaft is more vertical and the ball makes contact with the “toe” of the club.
Use very little wrist. Arms hang straight down. Use a putting stroke with little or no wrist break.
Position the ball opposite the sternum with more weight on your left foot (for right-handers).
Club and body go back and through together. Do not FLIP.
Always take a practice stroke before playing the real shot. Notice where the head of the club contacts the grass and adjust as necessary.
